Excellent product - did exactly what I wanted it to, which was identify quickly the culprits on our network that were using all the disk space!

Made hard drive clean-up easier Folder Size was a useful product for helping me clear out old and unwanted files from my hard drive. The ability to clearly show the total size of a folder and all of its subfolders helped me quickly identify where there was substantial bloat, the bolding of the two largest folders within each also sped this process. My quarterly disk cleanup got about 6 gigs of files I would otherwise have missed because I did not know that Vista placed files there.

nearly perfect fo my needs Needed to rationalise my backup arrangements (you do eventually run out of space!) and found the Folder Size a useful tool in planning and arranging a revised organisation. Would appreciate the option to "update all" to review impact of changes made without having to close, re-open and access all the drives again. The printout option is very useful, as is the function to review "newest, oldest, etc".

Very high CPU load This should mount shared folders on net as your local disk. In fact this doesn't work and CPU load is 100%.

Disk Space Inspector The program filled my need, which was to find any bloted directories or files. Interface for this task was excellent. Since this program would be used on only one pc, the cost was prohibitive.

Disk space Inspector i thought and found I thought that Disk Inspector is a software showing all kind of disk info.including the visual view of the disk space that can show me the bad sector.And also expected some way as option like making different new partition excluding the bad area, or suggestion what to do? But i didn't find it.But another facilities that are included (though simple) worked well and may help others.Greetings.

First of all, sorry about my bad English. Few day ago, I bought second-hand Maxtor 120Gb disc, and I have a problem to install Windows Xp on it. Disk Checker in Vista Using large fonts for the desktop, the interface is a bit scrambled, but was still usable. (buttons and dialogs in not quite the right place, or partially obscured.Despite that, it worked to reassure that a potentially defective CD from an academic text was in fact fine: problem was the laptop that couldn't read it properly.Needs some work to fix its use in other than standard font size ... I assume that's the issue, but didn't try it out as I was able to make it work ok.

very useful tool Unexperienced laptop user. Managed to finally repair my ill-behaving WD 750 GB disk. Wasn't straightforward, probably (at least partly) due to my missing experience. Needed several attempts, program got stuck several times without clear idea where and why, i.e. without clear error/status info (even 'close window' sometimes didn't work). Finally all fine. --

It works, and price is right I was taken by surprise when an older Sony Vaio laptop (which we still use for odds and ends) would not run Defrag because there was only 2% free on the hard drive!!! I had no idea!!! Deleted a few large PowerPoint presentations, which only made a minimal difference. Searched Google for disk free space management, and downloaded another program, which quit working after the first day. Disk Size Manager was fast to download (even on an older and too-full computer), and has been a big help in letting me see just where the disk space is being taken up.

Fixed my Asus and it is running well. Thanks for a great product.

I like the Partition Master Home Edition. It is easy to use and works well with W XP. Creating new partition was a breeze. No problems so far!!!!!

Yes,it works! So far I have converted disks from dynamic to MBR no problem. Still learning what all it will do.

this has to be the best partition program available. in a couple of minutes i decreased my e partition and increased my c drive without any problems and as i am a complete novice and 70 years old i can only say keep up the good work
